Explosion-proof Telephone-Accessories

EEx II-Acoustic Telephone Call Signalling Device

Mini Hooter HPO / Liftalarm
The explosion-protected telephone call signalling devices are designed for indoor and outdoor use in industrial applications with explosive atmospheres, e.g. the petrochemical industry. The tested high quality of the materials we use allows these devices to be used in extreme conditions in EEx II-classified applications. The user can select between a single-tone, two-tone, three-tone or warble tone ring with the help of internal DIP switches. Four different tone sequence frequencies can also be selected in a range between 5 and 20 Hz.

EEx-Telephonesignalcombination eFSK (Ex-Twin)

Mini Hooter HPO / Liftalarm
The eFSK 5842/1-EEx II is specifically designed for use as secondary telephone call indicator or signalling device in industrial applications with explosive atmospheres and may be used both indoors and outside. The eFSK 5842/1-EEx II signalling device is suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting. The Twin-EEx II can be adjusted on to the following operating modes with a dip switch: Secondary telephone call indicator In this mode the device is used for distinct signalling of incoming telephone calls in noisy environments. The signal is emitted loudly by the bell and additioned by the built-in strobe light. For this the strobe light is operated with call break bridging. The power supply for the optical and acoustic signals is fed from the 230 V mains. The signals are controlled by the AC-call voltage. No signals are emitted in the event of a power failure. Signalling device In this mode the device generates the acoustic and optical signals when the 230 V power supply is applied. The device is a very compact unit comprising power supply, telephone connection, strobe light, amplifier and loudspeaker. The base is made of seawater- proof cast aluminium and coated in plastic. The loudspeaker is made of impact and cold-resistant plastic and is mounted firmly on the housing. The cap of the strobe light forms the housing cover and is made of polycarbonate.

Telephone Protection Hoods Model 404

Mini Hooter HPO / Liftalarm
The telephone protection hood is an excellent aid to cut out extraneous noise and improve audibility in noisy surroundings when open telephones have to be installed for economic reasons. The special shape of the hood and ist inner lining of sound-absorbing material optimally reduces noise in the area of the telephone. Eavesdropping is also made difficult. The best acoustic effect is achieved when the protection hood is mounted with its back facing the noise source or loudest noise source (see directional diagram of sound-level reduction). The protection hood is made of sheet steel and lined on the inside with soundabsorbing mineral fibre boards behind a perforated plate cover.
